Frizzen Bum

The latest in the Bum series of games, Frizzen Bum is now available. It is similar in play and style as the previous rules sets, Chivalrous Bum (medieval) and Saddle Bum (wild west), but has be tailored to fighting in the flintlock era. All of these are small scale action, meaning only a few figures per side and a 2’x2′ battle space is needed. It is great as a gateway game to get new players interested in tabletop games, and is still a fun challenge for veteran players. With that, and only an hour or so play time and solo (or cooperative play) rules available, this this is a must have game.

The rules are intended for any type of small encounters during the French & Indian War, Revolutionary War, or War of 1812, but can be equally used for earlier matchlock or later caplock encounters. The rules are currently only being offered as a free pdf, but physical copies as well as complete game sets with minis and terrain will be available soon.

Scenarios are in the works. Below are just a few of our 1812 and FIW figures in action. More to come. Check out the Frizzen Bum game page here to get the rules and all the latest info.
