Aerodrome 1.1

WWI Air Combat Rules (A Fan Page)

Aerodrome 1.1 by Stanley F. Kubiak is a super fun and easy game to play but it also is a very competitive one. All players plan their moves in advance, and then all the move/fire actions for the turn are simultaneously carried out. There are other simple air combat games our there but this one does the best of making it a 3d game with the use of telescoping flight stands and rules for elevation differences.

Although the game plays well with just 2 players, it is really better with more. And being that each play only needs one air plane model (and it being from any manufacturer), it is a very low bar for entry. It serves as a great gateway game to get new player involved in the hobby (always a goal of ours). We are carrying complete starter sets, as well as individual components. Check them out here. We also have both 1/144 scale and 1/72 scale planes available individually with more being added soon. The photo above shows a couple Wings of War or Wings of Glory planes. We just glued a small magnet to the bottom so they work with our flight stands (paying attention to the polarity).

Besides planes, the game also allow for balloons and clouds. My wip clouds below still need some paint work but I’m not sure what yet. Feel free to send us any tips.
