Fall Road Trip

Most of you know that our Spring has been, and our Fall is planned to be, hectic this year as we more than doubled the number of conventions that we vended at. And considering that we were already hitting all the nearby shows, all these additional ones required a lot more driving and hotel nights. It’s taken a toll, but it’s been a good year so far and we feel like we are in the home stretch.

Coming up is Fall-In which is held is Lancaster, PA. That trip is not a bad drive by itself (about 5 hours), however, we leave from there and head straight to NH (8 more hours) to pick up a new (to us) spin casting machine and melting pot. These are very heavy pieces and need to be carefully crated up for shipping back to the shop. Then it is a long trip home (10.5 hours). (Those are all drive times, not including stops). This trek will bring our yearly total up to over 7,300 miles (11,750 km) this year with 2 more shows still to do.

Speaking of Fall-In, if you will be there, make sure to stop by and see us in the Vender Hall…

While we are getting ready for our road trip, we will be busy packing and loading, so all current orders will be mailed before we head out, and any new orders coming will be shipped after we are back. Our normal shipping schedule should resume on Nov. 12th. Thanks for understanding how small businesses have to operate.
